I can never understand how someone could vote for a treasonous traitor. He'll only be dictator for the first day...bullshit.
If trump gets into office after being convicted a felon we'll be more of a laughing stalk than we are now. If he wins the case coming up, more republicans in office are going to believe they can get away with doing whatever they want. He'll pardon the people who backed him, he'll go after the people who didn't.
When I think of trump winning my brain goes really dark, thinking of the worse that can happen and after watching the Handmaids Tale, I can see it going similar to that, it's starting already. If after all this he wins, every republican that runs for president will think they're immune from being charged.
They call us "snowflakes", but then they say we stole an election and made up with this scheme to put trump in jail. Either we're snowflakes or masterminds, we can't be both.
Democrats aren't perfect, but at least when one of ours does something illegal we let the court handle it instead of wining like toddlers who had their blankie taken from them. But trump wants a fight and now so do his followers, they want a fight because they think if they win things will get better. The government in trumps image looks awfully like Russia.
We have to win, this is the most important time in our lives, this is win or we say goodbye to America as it is now. The internet might be cleansed of any Democratic talk, maybe everyone that's said anything trump doesn't like, he'll have our accounts just erased. Any celebrity that said things against him might be blackballed. Who knows how far he'll go.
I can see troops in the street and people being locked up for talking against the republican government. I could see LGBTQ+ people getting locked up as well. Deportation will be a plane or bus ride right back to the country they came from and more children will be ripped from their parents. I can see them lowing the minimum wage or if you've talked against him maybe even having to work for free (told you I get dark.) Books they don't like might be burned, as well as art and music being destroyed. Going darker I could see something like The Purge happening, but it'll just be republicans going after people against trump.
No, I don't believe what I say, but I think of what could happen even if it's' less than 1%.
I do wonder one thing and it's something a friend and I were talking about. If trump wins will be military, follow him or be patriotic and disgusted if he does something bad enough to go against him?
